The Pure-Stream NRD-HP( 652 PSIG) is designed and manufactured for high-pressure applications that require high-efficiency dry air. Its unique mono-block stainless steel heat exchanger protects against corrosive elements and allows for efficient heat transfer.  The NRD-HT series high pressure refrigerated air dryers are available as a standard line up to 652 PSIG. The dryer line is a perfect solution for refrigerated air dryers applying in PET blow molding, pharmaceutical, injection molding, and other applications that require high-pressure compressed air.

The Pure-Stream NRD-HP( 800+ PSIG) is constructed with the application in mind and is engineered as a custom-built-to-order dryer. These units are designed to the specification of the application they are being used for, to ensure the absolute parameters of the application are met.

Operation High Pressure Non-cycling

Principle of Operation

  1. Saturated , compressed air is cooled in the air-to-air heat exchanger.
  2. The pre-cooled air passes through the evaporator where it is cooled to required temperature.
  3. The Condensate, separated from the compressed air in the demister, is discharged automatically by the condensate drain.

Vertical Heat Exchanger Design
The patented aluminum heat exchanger has been designed to offer the maximum performance and minimum pressure drop. The unique heat exchanger is both an air-to-air heat exchanger as well as an air to refrigeration heat exchanger. The warm and humid air is pre-cooled by the cool dry air that is leaving the dryer, which increases efficiency.
